Domed Brim Block Diameter 35cm

The Block:

Domed brim block of round shape. There is a circular flat area where the crown goes. It will allow you to create hats with a domed brim, ideal for ceremonial hats.

You have the option to add metal pins to fit and stabilise the crown on top, which will make your work easier. There is a string groove to lock the cord. 2 metal rods are supplied with the brim.

The holes of all blocks (brim, crown and fascinator) sold by Mercerie de l'Atelier are standardised (3.5cm for the central hole and 2.5cm for the outer holes)

On the brim, you will find 6 symmetrical and centred holes, which will allow you to slide 2 metal rods to lock the crown onto a brim.

- 2 holes with a 10cm spacing (compatible with most French blocks including those of La Forme - Ré)

- 2 holes with a 5 inch spacing (compatible with Guy Morse-Brown hat blocks)

- 2 holes offset by 1 inch and with a 4 inch spacing (compatible with hat blocks Australia)

The brim block is sold alone.


This block is manufactured in Tergnier, in our workshop with 100% French lime wood.
