Pillbox Marin

The Block:

Varnished hat block, pillbox marin fascinator version, a little nod to Jackie Kennedy. The hat mould is perfectly circular. The top is domed and the groove adds a fancy touch to the pillbox. You can fix a millinery wire in the groove to hold the material perfectly taut while drying.

The holes of all the blocks (brim, crown and fascinator) sold by Mercerie de l'Atelier are standardised (3.5 cm for the central hole and 2.5 cm for the outer holes)

Origin of the wood:

The wood is of French origin, sourced from a sawmill less than 70 km from the workshop. We prioritise short supply chains.
The blocks are made in Tergnier, in the workshop of labs10 with 100% French linden wood.
