Formillon - Height 3cm - Size of your choice

The block:

Oval base formillon, in varnished lime wood. Suitable for pressing a hat, and for shrinking or enlarging the headband.

- height of the formillon: 3cm (1.2")

- size in cm or inches: to be defined with the drop-down menu

The holes of all the blocks (brim, crown, formillon and fascinator) sold by Mercerie de l'Atelier are standardised (3.5cm for the central hole and 2.5cm for the outer holes).

On the 2 sides of the formillon, you will find 2 symmetrical and centred holes, which will allow you to slide 2 metal rods to lock the formillon onto a crown and/or a brim.

On the formillon, you will find 6 symmetrical and centred holes, which will allow you to slide 2 metal rods to lock the crown onto a brim.

- 2 holes with a spacing of 10cm (compatible with most French blocks including those from La Forme - Ré)

- 2 holes with a spacing of 5 inches (compatible with Guy Morse-Brown hat blocks)

- 2 holes offset by 1 inch and with a spacing of 4 inches (compatible with Hat Blocks Australia blocks)

The formillon is sold alone.


This block is made in Tergnier, in the workshop of labs10 with 100% French lime wood.
