Round Fascinator Boater

This round fascinator boater is a small-scale technical hat block designed for making fascinators, fascinator pieces and small millinery creations. It is made in France in Tergnier by labs10.fr from linden wood selected for its dimensional stability. The varnished finish allows steam work while protecting the wood structure from moisture.

Usage Tips

This hat block is designed for blocking all types of textile or straw material. To ensure the longevity of the varnish and prevent pigment transfer, it is strongly recommended to wrap the block in cling film before any wet blocking operation. The base is pre-drilled to ensure universal compatibility with French, English and Australian fixing systems via blocking pins.

Care Instructions

Wipe the hat block with a dry cloth after each use to remove stiffener or fibre residue. Do not use solvents that may damage the protective varnish. Never heat the hat block above 100°C. If exposed to prolonged moisture, allow to dry naturally away from any direct heat source to prevent warping of the wood.
