Closed-top sewing thimble. Perfectly suited for dressmaking and hat making. This nickel-plated brass thimble will allow you to push through layers without hurting your finger.

Handy tip: for those who sew all day long, you can apply nail varnish to the inside of your thimble to prevent skin perspiration (which is acidic) from oxidising your thimble and blackening your fingertips.
