This traditionally crafted grosgrain ribbon is woven in France on wooden shuttle looms, ensuring an authentic structure and superior fibre suppleness. Its 100% cotton composition and 15 mm width make it ideal for high-end millinery and tailoring work requiring a matt, stable finish. This premium product allows precise handling without fibre damage during assembly stages.
Usage advice
This ribbon is specifically designed to be shaped with an iron to follow the curves of headband openings or hat brims. Due to its pure cotton structure, thorough shrinking with steam before any cutting or application is essential to stabilise the natural fibre shrinkage. Its suppleness enables the creation of complex millinery bows (flat bow, French bow) with a clean drape and lasting hold.

Storage: keep away from direct light and moisture to preserve the depth of colour.

Protection: the use of a press cloth is recommended when shaping with an iron to avoid glazing the cotton.
