Grosgrain is a ribbon with prominent ribs used in hat making (for the neatness of the headband lining and for decoration). It can also be used as a waistband finish on trousers or skirts, helping to prevent the shirt from slipping out of the trousers.

- No tumble drying
- No chlorine bleach
- Iron at medium heat (110°C)
- Professional cleaning permitted with perchloroethylene and petroleum-based solvents
