Cloche Brim 3.5cm Diameter 45cm

The Block:

Round cloche brim. There is an oval flat area where the crown sits. It will allow you to create hats with a wide cloche brim, ideal for summer hats.

You have the option to fit metal pegs to slot in and stabilise the crown on top, which will make the work easier. A set of 2 metal rods is supplied with the block.

The holes on all the blocks (brim, crown and fascinator) sold by La Mercerie de l'Atelier are standardised (3.5cm for the central hole and 2.5cm for the outer holes)

On the brim, you will find 6 symmetrical and centred holes, which will allow you to slot in 2 metal rods to lock the crown onto a brim.

- 2 holes with a 10cm spacing (compatible with most French blocks including those from La Forme - Ré)

- 2 holes with a 5 inch spacing (compatible with Guy Morse-Brown hat blocks)

- 2 holes offset by 1 inch and with a 4 inch spacing (compatible with Hat Blocks Australia blocks)

The brim is sold alone.


This block is made in Tergnier, in our workshop, from 100% French lime wood.
