Grosgrain ribbon 25mm - Peach - cotton

Usage advice

This ribbon is specifically designed to be worked with a pressing iron to follow the curves of headfittings or hat brims. Due to its pure cotton structure, it is essential to carry out a full shrinking with steam before any cutting or fitting to stabilise the natural fibre shrinkage. Its suppleness allows the creation of complex millinery bows (flat bow, French bow) with a clean drape and lasting hold.

• Storage: store away from direct light and humidity to preserve the depth of colour.

• Protection: the use of a press cloth is recommended when shaping with an iron to avoid glazing the cotton.

• Tools: the use of perfectly sharpened tailor's shears is necessary to ensure a clean cut of the weft.
