Usage advice

This ribbon is specifically designed to be worked with an iron to follow the curves of headbands or hat brims. Due to its pure cotton structure, it is imperative to carry out a complete shrinking process with steam before any cutting or fitting to stabilise the natural shrinkage of the fibre. Its suppleness allows the creation of complex millinery bows (flat bow, French bow) with a clean drape and lasting hold.

• Storage: store away from direct light and humidity to preserve the depth of the colour.

• Protection: the use of a press cloth is recommended when blocking with an iron to avoid glazing the cotton.

• Tools: the use of perfectly sharpened tailor's shears is necessary to ensure a clean cut of the weft.
